Scottish Snooker have been invited to send 2 players in each of the 3 categories of Men, Masters & Ladies to The 2008 European Championships in Lublin, Poland (5th-14th June 08).
With the entry closing date being 1st of May 08, then the current rankings now stand as no more events in any of the 3 categories will be completed by the closing date.
All acceptances will be confirmed in Red.

The Winner of The Mens European Championship also gains entry on The WSA Main Tour for season 2008/09.

On behalf of the EBSA Board of Directors and the Polish Billiards & Snooker Association (PB&SA), I have pleasure in inviting you to send players to take part in the 2008 European Snooker Ladies, Masters and Men Championships.

I enclose entry and Travel-Accommodation forms (please copy as required) for a maximum entry of Two Ladies, Two Masters and Two Men players from each Member Country, to be returned as instructed.

Closing date for entries: 01st May 2008

The PB&SA has asked me to send you an invitation to take part, as well, in:
The 2008 EBSA International Open – see all details enclosed.

I am pleased to announce that this year’s Mens European Champion and the EBSA International Open Champion will each receive a nomination for the 2008/2009 main professional Tour.

A maximum of 24 international referees will be invited by the PB&SA. Accommodation will be supplied on a bed and breakfast basis, two referees sharing a room. A meal will be provided at the Venue.
Referees will be nominated by the European Billiards & Snooker Referees Association (EBSRA). Request must be sent to the secretary, Mr. Eugene O’Connor eoconnor2@mmm.com before the 01st May 2008.

The Polish Billiards & Snooker Association has asked me to assure you, that they will do eveything to make your visit one to remember.

Lublin is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes drive from Warsaw Airport. There are regular bus services from the airport to Lublin almost every 2 hours.
BUS POLSKI EXPRESS: Current ticket prices: 40 PLN
It takes 3 hours 30 minutes from Warsaw Okecie Airport to Lublin.
TRAINS: bus connections from Okecie Airport to Warsaw Central Railway Station and train to Lublin. Prices of train tickets 50 Zlotys (PLN)

PB&SA will provide a coach service from Warsaw Airport to LUBLIN
Car for 4 persons - 400 PLN;
Bus for 8 persons - 75 PLN per person
Bus for 16 persons - 50 PLN per person
Bus for 28 persons - 30 PLN per person

Attention: All delegations will be collected from the airport, subject to arrival information being forwarded in advance.
