Only winding you up Mick - Relax.
Big Problem with front paging the results is the amount of time required removing them and putting them back where they should be.
Also, when their is more than one event on any given day, it really does become mega time consuming.
If people use the site they can easily find the relevant sections they require.
Hope this helps.

PS Got home from Falkirk at 11:30pm last night - not bad - I only left home at 9:30am!

Like yourself Frank, that's every individuals decision.

If Frank was a bit more articulate, he could be making a decent point, it's time draws were done on the day with those present.

and ur so good at it john i wish i was u!

I was'nt even playing, I was TD for the day.
Sometimes serious Snooker can take time.

John - Draws on the day is a massive backward step for the organisation of Scottish Snooker.
It's all about players being able to plan their season ahead and sort out time away from family.
It's been the same every year since I have known, that numbers fall off at the end of each season. It's got very little to do with draws being made in advance.
At least nowadays, with pre-payment, then Prizefunds can be Guaranteed.
Surely a good thing?

At least the way we operate now, means that Scottish Snooker does not have a problem Guaranteeing the Prizefunds. The prepayment method takes care of the shortfall always having to be made up by Scottish Snooker.

The issue of penalising non show Challenger qualifiers is something we have looked at but seeing as we play Amateur Snooker and players have families and other commitments - then I don't think penalties would be the way forward.
Anyone, got any alternative ideas to this?

one I thought of was to hold back their Challenger Prizemoney, wherby it can only be collected at "The Top 64" Event proper!
No show - no payment!
What do you think?

I would like the top 16 to be seeded again and 1 round in front .... 16 play 16 the round before that making a tour of 48 (32 seeds v 16 qualifiers)

Top 16 turn up @ 12:30 to play their matches ...... 64 tour is too many for little numbers of players that actually want to play.

Being a top 16 player means absolutley NOTHING at the moment

McGill, Anthony

Does anyone know any results?

Even if it was Stephen Hendry that had won them all and you had lost the same 5 to him...........you would STILL have got chances.
That's the nature and the skill of the game - Taking Them! ;)
