Anyone know what's happening with The Masters.
I just came back from London and been told it closed it's doors on Tuesday!
Is this for good?
I had a Junior coaching class on Saturday Morning.
If it has closed I will need to go down and let the kids lnow on Saturday morning.
Any info folks?
I will call Linda or Tony to see whats happening.

Hi Guys,
Thought it best to let you know what happened- saves gossip running wild ! :)
The new owner was in place and we had asked that he keep the staff and ongoing bookings, to which he readily agreed.
Everything was in good order, paperwork also in order and we handed over the keys on Tuesday afternoon.
Unfortunately, the landlord apparently (we found out later) did his deal with the new tenant (not as with us - in writing) but on a handshake - possibly not the best thing to do with quite a valuable asset !
It was also presumes that the new owner could trade on with my Liquor license until his came through - (not clever considering he has nine other pubs) - but this misconception was corrected.
Unfortunately, as we were no longer involved we did not know the club had not re-opened until later.
I am led to believe it will operate but have no details. I hope everything works out ok for them as I hope the members do not suffer through careless paperwork.
I'll keep an eye on the website to keep track of your achievements -so have a great season all. Linda ;)

I would have thought that Fraser (i'm disapointed) would have thought better than to 'surrender' his entitlement to comment ..to a person who was not a member of the SSL website. I would suggest that 'basic staff ' would have no idea what was necessary to keep 'the place buzzin'! let alone ..god !?. Be safe in the knowledge that you (Davey) and the moustache had no bearing on MY club not buzzin It was totally due to the non smokers who did [B]not wish quite correctly to spend their money on an evening out without having the choice to smoke. Therefore if you have any comments to make, I suggest you send them to your local 'voted' government and you exclude ' my past members'.Cheers.

I heard moustache's like that are great for filtering minestrone soup !

Linda: I wrote to my local MP and thanked him for helping make having a night out much more healthy and bearable.
Let the smokers kill themselves I say!
