Last weekend the jersey Open EBOS tournament took place in St hellier.
Scotland were represented by Dave Sneddon and Roy Bacon.
Dave Sneddon reached the semi final and qualified from his group of four with two wins from three. Three players had two wins,Roy Bacon who had a break of 143 in beating Dave Brabinger who beat Dave Sneddon. Sneddon beat Bacon with a break of 148. All three beat Roger Davies fram Spain.
Sneddon and Brabinger went through on points difference.
Sneddon lost to former pro Roxton Chapman in the semi who went on to lose to Rob Hall in the final.
Chapman had a 230 in his first visit and it looked like he would win. Hall though showing great resolve made two breaks (198 and 199 to win.
Bacon meanwhile won the plate with a 96 unfinished beating local player Guy Hays.
So ended a great weelend of billiards.
